Just in time for Christmas shopping, an exhibit titled “small art” will open Thursday, Dec. 15, at Woerpel Images Gallery, a small gallery in downtown Escanaba. A public reception
will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
The exhibit will feature local artists Ingrid Cline, Pasqua Warstler, Elaine Pakonen-Luedtke and Nathan Blixt. It will include small art items ideal for stocking stuffers or small gifts for the holidays.
Cline is a Romanian artist that has been gaining a lot of attention regionally. Warstler is the gallery director at the Bonifas Arts Center and specializes in small collages. Elaine Pakonen-Luedtke is an Upper Peninsula artist who works in mixed media. Blixt has been developing his style in computer imagery and mixed media.The artists will be at the reception Dec. 15. 6:00 pm. The show will run until Jan. 20. Woerpel Images is located at 1007 Ludington Street.
